  • I have gluten allergy since childhood. I am always on a Gluten Free diet and I use guar gum in some of my baked foods.

  • Brenda:

I use guar gum more than xanthan gum. I prefer the price and the taste and effectivenes is just as good. I use it all of the time instead of xanthan gum. It is all about preference and what you can afford.

  • I know what you mean. Before I found out I had CD I loved to eat wheat bread. There are still days when my mouth waters just watching someone else eating it. Although the way I look at it is that it is better to be healthy that each what ever we want. I feel like an entirely new person after switching my diet so there is no remorse on my part. Good luck with all of your future GF adventures.
